The Meeniyan Hotel has stood as a central gathering place for South Gippsland since the late 19th century, serving as a social and economic hub for the town of Meeniyan.

In 1930, the hotel underwent a major milestone with the construction of its current venue on Whitelaw Street. Today, the hotel retains its historic character and classic front bar atmosphere while operating as a premier bistro and community watering hole, drawing both long-time Gippsland locals and visitors traveling through South Gippsland toward Wilson’s Promontory.
